In a hot pan, add oil, followed by ginger, garlic, green chilly, and onion, and cook for a little while. Add cumin seeds, chilly powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Stir to combine. Into this mixture, add tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cook until tomatoes are soft. Add water followed by lentils. Let the lentils cook. Once it’s cooked, use a hand blender to blend everything well. The soup is ready.
